  • Other factors such as leadership potential, extracurricular talents, and skills, etc.

Financial Aid

Our philosophy is to enroll a socio-economically diverse student body with academic potential, creating a unique educational experience. There is, therefore, scholarship money available to support students whose families cannot afford to pay full tuition.

If you believe you might qualify for a scholarship, fill out the Financial Aid form available during the application window.

University Counseling

How it Works

While we can support every student in making the right list of schools and preparing the best applications possible, ultimately it is up to each student to develop the study skills needed to become a strong, self-reliant student and to achieve an outstanding academic performance at Gashora.

Finding the Right Match

What are you seeking? Where will you be most likely to thrive? What matters most to you: Location? Climate? Program?

Cost of University Education

Understanding how much a school costs for one year and what your family can contribute is an important part of the college selection process. If they were to really sacrifice, what could your family pay?

Application Process

The process of applying to university includes meeting deadlines, taking many tests, and writing many essays. While we help to provide all this information, you should empower yourself by doing the research on your own. The university application is YOUR process, no one else’s.

Studying “outside”

If you are planning to study “outside” Rwanda, you must be aware that the full cost of doing so can be very expensive -- over USD$50,000 per year, if not more. For most universities, it is almost impossible to get a 100% scholarship. Studying in a different country and in a different language than your own is also a major transition that requires many adjustments. This path is not always the right fit for everyone.
