Gashora alumna, Pascale Kunda, was recently voted this year's Tommie Award winner, a prestigious award offered once a year to a senior at the University of St. Thomas. Pascale is currently a senior at St. Thomas studying mechanical engineering and minoring in peach engineering and is the first engineering major to receive this award. It is the beginning of March and that means that the class of 2019's National Exam scores are in! The Gashora Girls have excelled once again with 100% passing and 40 students receiving a PERFECT SCORE! We are also proud that one of our students was The Best in Sciences and plans to become a mechanical engineer. Our students continue to break Gashora records and achieve academic success, join us in celebrating their success!
Assumpta Gasana and Nancy Ingabire Abayo are civil engineering students and the brains behind Sci-Touche, an initiative that seeks to leverage science-related curriculums into more practical applications through scientific experiments in schools.
The project aims at providing space and equipment for all Rwandan students who are pursuing, or aspire to pursue, STEM-related courses at higher levels of education
Our Gashora Girls Economics Club made it to the quarter finals at the BNR Schools Quiz Challenge. They were the winning team to represent Eastern Province at the National Level.
